Afreko Media is passionate about creating high-quality content that delivers real value to our users, and we’re looking for a talented Senior Content Manager to help us take our content strategy to the next level.
About the Role.
As the Senior Content Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a content strategy for our different products that align with our brand values and mission. You will oversee the content creation process, from briefing and commissioning external writers to reviewing, editing, and publishing content on our website. Your role will also involve conducting ongoing content and website audits to ensure high-quality content, providing creative and strategic content input to stakeholders, and improving the quality of existing pages while quantifying their success.
Responsibilites.
- Write, edit, and brief content in line with the product style guide
- Create and implement a content strategy for our different products
- Brief and commission content to external freelance writers
- Review, edit, and publish content submitted by writers
- Conduct ongoing content and website audits to ensure high-quality content
- Provide creative and strategic content input to stakeholders
- Develop an editorial calendar and ensure stakeholders are on board
- Improve the quality of existing pages and be able to quantify their success
About You.
- 3+ years of experience in a content management role, ideally within the iGaming or a related industry
- Strong writing and editing skills, with an ability to write in a range of styles and formats
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful content strategies
- Experience with briefing and commissioning external freelance writers
- Experience with content management workflows within WordPress
- Strong analytical skills, with an ability to use data to measure the success of content
- Excellent project management skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and an ability to optimise content for search engines
